The Samphire we’ve used comes from the coasts of Brittany, where it grows on the rocks. Rich in vitamins (A, B2, B15, C), beta-carotene, minerals and trace elements, it’s an excellent ingredient for the skin, but the high phenolic acid content is what gives it its «retinol-like» activity. Unlike retinol, however, it does not irritate the skin. Samphire improves skin thickness, boosts collagen production, and stimulates fibroblasts.
