About the product
Make sure your skin is dry, and always start with the thighs (from the knees to the groin), then brush from the ankles to the knees, and finally all the way up the legs (from the feet to the groin).
Next, move on to the arms (from hands to underarms), then end with clockwise circular motions over the stomach.
Don’t forget to always finish your movements in the direction of the nearest grouping of lymph nodes (popliteal fossa in the elbow area, inguinal lymph nodes near the pelvian area and axillary lymph nodes in the underarm area), and towards the heart.
Tap the brush on a towel to clean it, then take a quick shower.
Are there any contraindications to dry brushing?
If your are suffering from eczema, psoriasis, body acne, zoster, burns or any other skin condition, we don't recommend using our Energizing Brush or any dry brush tool.
How often should I dry brush my body?
It is recommended to start by an intensive treatment and dry brush every day for 2 weeks. Then, 2-3 times a week are enough to maintain the results, but you can do it every day if you love it, of course!
How long should I dry brush for?
5 minutes a day are enough, right before showering.
I have dry skin, can I put some oil before dry brushing?
Dry brushing must me done onto dry skin, preferably before your shower. If your skin is uncomfortable afterwards, feel free to apply your favorite body lotion.
Do I need to use a body scrub afterwards?
Dry brushing offers a gentle exfoliation, so it's not necessary to use a body scrub afterwards but you can absolutely do it on a day you don't dry brush.
